The blower is the supply of air pressure in pneumatic conveying systems. The machine consists of a cast iron body on a steel bended plate frame with a blower pump driven by an electrical motor via a V-belt transmission system. Roller bearings on both sides of the pump connect it to the frame.
As the first machine of pneumatic conveying systems, the blower creates the airflow required to move granular and powder products through pipelines to cyclones, filters and receiving points.
The motor drives the pump impeller through V-belts, compressing or moving air into the conveying line. Air pressure overcomes pipeline resistance and transports product injected at the feed point. Bearings support stable long-running operation in industrial environments.
Proper blower sizing ensures the pneumatic line maintains stable transport without blockages or excessive velocity that could damage fragile products. Service access to belts and bearings is arranged for routine mill maintenance schedules.
