The scourer comprises of a horizontal rotor with palettes on it and a two-piece metal screen sheet around the rotor, which is specially designed and assembled around the rotor in a cylindrical manner. While the cereal grains that fall into the horizontal high spin rate rotor rotate with an angle of 360 degrees due to the angle of the palettes, they are exposed to abrasion, especially because of the products being rubbed against the the sifter surface and against each other. This way, the crust of the products are scoured and discharged through the pores of the sieve. Due to the spiral structure of the rotor palettes, the scoured product is relayed to the exit bunker. During this process, all unwanted objects on the grains and also the small seeds within the grains are wiped out.
