Vertical debranning machine for removing outer bran layer from wheat, barley and rye by abrasion before milling.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Vertical Debranner is a high-capacity machine designed to remove the outer bran layer from cereals such as wheat, barley and rye by abrasion. The machine is exceptionally hard wearing and designed for trouble-free continuous production operation.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Product enters through an adjustment valve and passes through vertical abrasive stones, resistance bars and screen section. An exhaust connection pulls removed bran and dust through the screens toward a cyclone or dust collector. The degree of debranning is controlled by a weighted outlet gate and can be adjusted in seconds.

APPLICATION AREAS

  • Pre-milling debranning of wheat and barley
  • Specialty grain surface preparation
  • Bran reduction before tempering and milling
  • Integration with aspiration and dust collection

Debranning before milling reduces bran contamination in white flour streams and can improve yield when adjusted to crop characteristics. Exhaust connection to plant aspiration keeps the machine area clean during high-throughput operation.

FEATURES & ADVANTAGES

  • High-capacity abrasive debranning
  • Hard-wearing design for 24-hour duty
  • Quick adjustment of debranning degree
  • Integrated exhaust for bran and dust removal
  • Stable operation with weighted outlet gate control
