The Vertical Debranner is a high-capacity machine designed to remove the outer bran layer from cereals such as wheat, barley and rye by abrasion. The machine is exceptionally hard wearing and designed for trouble-free continuous production operation.
Product enters through an adjustment valve and passes through vertical abrasive stones, resistance bars and screen section. An exhaust connection pulls removed bran and dust through the screens toward a cyclone or dust collector. The degree of debranning is controlled by a weighted outlet gate and can be adjusted in seconds.
Debranning before milling reduces bran contamination in white flour streams and can improve yield when adjusted to crop characteristics. Exhaust connection to plant aspiration keeps the machine area clean during high-throughput operation.
