The Top Filter is an industrial dust filter system mounted at upper points of aspiration circuits to separate dust from conveying air. Similar to jet filter technology, it protects the environment and recovers product fines from pneumatic and aspiration lines in food and grain plants.
The filter can operate in pressurized or vacuum environments. Project design prioritises safety, accident prevention and environmental protection with painted finish options.
Dust-laden air enters the filter body where bag or cartridge elements retain particles while cleaned air exits to fan or atmosphere. Periodic cleaning pulses release collected dust to a discharge hopper for reuse or waste collection.
Top-mounted filters save floor space and place dust collection close to the dust source at sifters and conveyors. Filter cleaning cycles can be coordinated with central control to maintain stable aspiration pressure across the plant.
