The Semolina Purifier is used in grain processing plants particularly for wheat semolina production and, when required, to assist the flour production process. It improves semolina quality by separating bran particles from endosperm granules.
The equipment classifies product obtained from the process according to particle size while separating bran content using the vacuum effect created in the ventilation section. Differences in specific weight and aerodynamic properties allow bran to rise and exit while cleaner semolina passes through sieves.
Semolina purification improves end product colour and purity before final bagging or bulk shipment. Adjustable aspiration and sieve settings allow millers to respond to varying bran content in incoming semolina from different rollermill passages.
