The Combinator is an industrial flow routing system used in grain and bulk handling plants to combine or divert product streams between multiple conveying lines. It enables flexible pipeline configuration without extensive manual piping changes.
Internal flaps or valves direct incoming product to selected outlet spouts according to plant automation commands. The compact body mounts in line with pneumatic or gravity ducts to merge flows from silos, scales or process machines to chosen destinations.
Combinators reduce the number of manual pipe connections in complex mill pneumatic layouts. Automated switching supports recipe-based routing when the same line must feed different silos or machines during production campaigns.
Manual override positions are provided for maintenance and emergency routing when automation is temporarily offline.
Flanged connections on inlet and outlets simplify retrofit installation in existing mill buildings.
Status feedback can interface with plant control rooms for remote route confirmation.
