ALAPROS to Build a Next-Generation Autonomous Flour Mill in Canada

New 500 TPD Facility in Quebec Represents the Next Step in Autonomous Milling Technology

ALAPROS, one of Türkiye's leading grain and flour milling technology companies and among the country's top exporters in the food processing machinery and equipment sector, continues to expand its international presence with a new turnkey flour mill project in Canada.

Manufacturing and construction activities are progressing as planned for the 500 metric ton per day flour mill being built for Luthi Grains in Quebec. The project, awarded at the end of 2025, marks another important milestone in ALAPROS' continued growth in the North American market.

The investment by Luthi Grains will support the production of the company's premium flour brand, Go Ancestral. Designed to meet the increasing demand for high-quality flour products, the facility combines modern milling technology, advanced automation, and integrated process management within a single production plant.

The new greenfield mill will feature ALAPROS' latest generation Roller Mills, Plansifters, process automation systems, and digital control technologies developed to improve production efficiency, operational consistency, and product quality.

Building on Proven Autonomous Milling Experience

One of the key aspects of the project is the further development of ALAPROS' autonomous milling approach.

Building on the autonomous milling technologies previously implemented in Italy, the Quebec project incorporates enhanced process automation, intelligent control strategies, and advanced digital monitoring tools to further reduce operator intervention while maintaining stable and efficient production.

Rather than introducing a completely new concept, the project represents the next stage in ALAPROS' ongoing development of autonomous milling technologies, combining proven engineering solutions with practical digital innovations to support more efficient plant operation and improved process control.
